Students on the fundraising team for the plastinates project coordinated a fundraising event this month in support of their project. For the crowdfunders out there, here’s how one group got creative:

‘The lobby of the Nesbitt Biology building was the site of the Carleton Anatomy Project’s Pimp Your lab Coat event. Tie dye, spray paint, iron-on transfers and markers were on hand, which when combined with some serious artistic talent resulted in very creative looking lab apparel. The event, held on Sept 25th, raised over $400 towards the projects goal of purchasing plastinated tissue specimens for use in anatomy and physiology classes.’
