This award was established in 1981 by family, friends, and colleagues in honour of Neil Huckvale, a former graduate student in the Department of Geography. The recipient will reflect Neil Huckvale’s humanity and philosophy, and will be chosen on the basis of merit and special interest in teaching and resource conservation. The scholarship will normally be awarded annually to a student enrolled in the third or subsequent term of a graduate program in geography. It may be held in combination with a teaching or research assistantship.
