Martha Camfield loved Canada, especially the lake and her family’s cottage. Every time she came back into the city, she would remark that she had “never seen it more beautiful”.  In her memory, her family has placed a plaque by the lake to reflect her love of nature.

Awarded annually to undergraduate students in demonstrated financial need proceeding from one year to another in any program of study at Carleton University. Eligible students will be Canadian Citizens or permanent residents of Canada (landed immigrant or a protected person.) Endowed in 2018 by the Camfield Family.
