Awarded annually to undergraduate students with a documented permanent disability who are enrolled in a degree program at Carleton University. Eligible students will be in demonstrated financial need and must be registered with the Paul Menton Centre. Endowed in 2019 by Dr. Larry Didow, PhD/72.
Dr. Larry Didow obtained his PhD at Carleton University in 1972 and went on to become a professor at the University of Winnipeg. During his tenure at the University, he was very active in the development of the Nathan McKay Learning Resource Centre for Students with Disabilities (now referred to as the Disability Services and Resource Centre) and he currently supports disabled students through several scholarships and/or bursaries at post secondary institutions.
