Awarded annually to outstanding undergraduate students entering or proceeding from one year to another in any area of study within the Faculty of Science at Carleton University. Endowed 2010 by Joseph Haché.
Joseph Haché graduated from Carleton in 2005 with a B.Sc. in Integrated Studies, focusing on Computer Science and Business. He was given the Honour Award for Service for his time spent as a CUSA representative, (Carleton University Students Association), serving on the CCSS executive (Carleton Computer Science Society) and also as a student representative on Carleton’s Board of Governors. He has been working for the federal government since September 2005 in a variety of roles.
Joseph believes that a good education helps everyone in society, and he wanted to do his part in helping with that. To that end, he set up the Joseph Haché Scholarship and Joseph Haché Bursary so that he could help students in getting an education in the sciences.
