Established through the generosity of two Carleton alumni, community leaders and art collectors, the Joe Friday and Grant Jameson Contemporary Art Fund at Carleton University Art Gallery recognizes the value and power of art in contemporary society. The fund will support the production and presentation of contemporary art exhibitions, or a contemporary acquisition, publication or program, should an opportunity arise.

“The Carleton University Art Gallery encourages our community to be reflective of ideas, thoughts, concerns and preoccupations in society,” says Joe Friday. The fund will amplify the work of contemporary artists, whose work enables CUAG to engage and involve campus and civic communities in open and reciprocal exchanges, based in art.
