Every year, dozens of students in the Faculty of Public Affairs head out to countries all over the globe — to study, work, intern and volunteer.
Many are engaged in learning experiences in developing countries in Africa, Central America and South America. They then bring these experiences back to the classroom, enriching the learning of everyone around them.
Here in the Faculty of Public Affairs, we educate students who will be leaders in the community — whether locally or globally. That’s why the Faculty, along with Carleton University, offers students financial support to help make these international learning experiences possible.
Your donation will support the travel of Faculty of Public Affairs’ students who are studying, volunteering, interning or working abroad as part of an academic degree program offered by Carleton University.
This project supports the broadening of learning experiences for students who are dedicated to making society better. This is an important part of an education focused on public service. We hope to assist as many students as we can to gain international experiences.
