The First Lake Solutions Award in Political Management was established in 2023 thanks to a generous donation from Rob Leforte, MPM alumnus and founder of First Lake Solutions—a successful government relations consulting firm in Ottawa. Valued at $2000, the scholarship will be awarded annually by the Dean of Graduate and Postdoctoral Affairs on the recommendation of the Director of the Master of Political Management (MPM) program to an outstanding graduate student entering or continuing in the Master of Political Management program. Both full-time and part-time students will be eligible, and consideration will be given to students from diverse backgrounds.
