Carleton University Art Gallery has a long and distinguished history of publishing scholarly, substantive and beautifully-designed exhibition catalogues, which are distributed across Canada and internationally. The gallery’s catalogues have won many awards for writing and design, from such organizations as the Ontario Association of Art Galleries, the American Alliance of Museums and Concours Grafika.

Your gift to this endowment fund will exclusively support CUAG’s publication of exhibition catalogues, both print and digital. The expenses involved in producing catalogues include hiring photographers to document exhibitions in the gallery, professional fees for writers, translators, editors and designers, and printing the books.

The Diana Nemiroff Publishing Fund was established in 2012, to mark the retirement of Diana Nemiroff, an internationally-renowned art historian, recipient of a Governor General’s Award in Visual Arts and the director of Carleton University Art Gallery from 2005-12.
