Awarded annually by the Dean of Graduate and Postdoctoral Affairs on the recommendation of the Chair of the Department of Psychology to outstanding graduate students entering or continuing in a Psychology program. The scholarship was established in memory of Bill Jones to recognize the outstanding contribution he made to Carleton University and the academic community as a teacher, scholar, Chair of the Department of Psychology, CUASA negotiator, OCUFA President, and Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences.
