The purpose of this fund is to support the costs of an annual lecture in memory of Charles Gordon a former Chair of Sociology/Anthropology, and for many years Coordinator of the Directed Interdisciplinary Studies program.  This lecture series was created in his honour to recognize the countless contributions he made to Carleton in both mind and spirit. The annual series exists in perpetuity to bring together Gordon’s two deepest interests, design and the social sciences.
