The CBET Bursary for Indigenous Students will be awarded annually, at a value of $1000, to an Indigenous student with demonstrated financial need who is enrolled in the first year of any full-time undergraduate program of study at Carleton University. Established in 2021 by the CBET (Canada Bangladesh Education Trust).

CBET was established in August 2012 by the Bangladeshi Canadian community living in the Ottawa-Gatineau area and strives to give scholarships to college and university students in Bangladesh and Canada. By aiding deserving students financially, CBET strives to help them establish themselves in society and contribute to society with their earned skills and knowledge.
