The CBET Bursary will be awarded annually to international students attending Carleton University, with a value of $1000.  Eligible recipients will have demonstrated financial need and will be proceeding from one year to another in any full-time undergraduate program of study. Preference will be given to students from Bangladesh or another South-Asian country. Established in 2021 by the CBET (Canada Bangladesh Education Trust).

CBET was established in August 2012 by the Bangladeshi Canadian community living in the Ottawa-Gatineau area and strives to give scholarships to college and university students in Bangladesh and Canada. By aiding deserving students financially, CBET strives to help them establish themselves in society and contribute to society with their earned skills and knowledge.
