The David J. Azrieli Institute of Graduate Studies and Research in Architecture was established in 2004 as a means of supporting and promoting Carleton University’s School of Architecture as an international leader in Architectural pedagogy and research. Within the Institute all instruction, research activities and disciplines relating to architecture, such as town-planning, landscape architecture, building preservation and other research and teaching as are generally conducted in a graduate program of Architecture.
