Awarded annually to a deserving student entering or proceeding from one year to another in any program of study at Carleton University. Recipients will demonstrate financial need, must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents of Canada (landed immigrants or protected persons), and must meet OSAP’s Ontario residency requirements. Endowed in 2006 in memory of Ameer Jinah by friends and colleagues in recognition of his dedication to academic excellence.
