Overview
In 2024, both the Men’s and Women’s Varsity Golf Teams made great strides, which landed the Women’s Team on the podium twice, with third place finishes at 2 events this Fall. Our Men’s Team ended the Fall 2024 season on a high note with their best collective finish, a tie for fifth at the OUA Championship, in Windsor, ON.
As individuals the Ravens had many top 10 finishes at tournaments during the 2024 fall season; our best individual result being a 2nd place at the Queen’s Bert Kea Invitational by 1st year Industrial Design student, Sanvi Swarup.

The Rollout
Enhancing Practice Opportunities:
As we look forward to preparing for the National Championship in June 2025, practising golf indoors in the winter months is often more expensive than outdoor training during the Fall, Spring and Summer.
Donations will help fund our winter training plan, ensuring our athletes have access to the best resources to excel over the winter months.
Minimize Financial Burden on the Student Athletes:
The team budget comprises of university athletics support, team fees and fundraising. To keep team fees, the lowest in the OUA, fundraising needs to be at the forefront.
Our program covers essential expenses to ensure our athletes have everything they need to succeed, including:
- Logoed Apparel and a Team Golf Bag: Each athlete receives UnderArmour and PING branded gear to foster team spirit and unity.
- Training and Practice Facility Costs: We provide access to top-notch training facilities, ensuring our golfers can hone their skills in a professional environment.
- Tournament Entry Fees: All registration costs for tournaments are fully covered, allowing our athletes to compete without financial concerns.
- Travel and Accommodation: We handle travel and lodging expenses for away competitions, ensuring our golfers can focus on performing their best.
