Overview
This Giving Tuesday, support Carleton Ravens Women’s Basketball as we continue to compete, grow, and represent Carleton University on the international stage.
Our program is committed to developing outstanding student-athletes through high-level competition, strong team culture, and opportunities that extend beyond the court. With both our 3×3 and 5-on-5 teams pursuing international competition, we are working to create meaningful experiences that challenge our athletes, strengthen our program, and showcase Ravens basketball around the world.
Our goal is to raise $8,000 to help offset the costs associated with international competition and give our student-athletes more opportunities to compete at the highest level.

The Background
International competition provides our student-athletes with opportunities to grow in ways that go far beyond basketball. Competing against teams from different countries and basketball cultures challenges our athletes to adapt, develop new skills, build resilience, and gain valuable experience.
Our Ravens 3×3 team has established itself on the world stage, and our program is committed to continuing to build on that success while creating more international opportunities for our 5-on-5 team.
However, international competition comes with significant expenses, including travel, accommodations, meals, and other essential costs. Fundraising helps make these opportunities more accessible and reduces the financial burden associated with competing abroad.

The Rollout
Funds raised through this Giving Tuesday campaign will help cover the essential costs of international competition and support the overall development of our student-athletes.
Donations will contribute toward:
- Travel and transportation: Helping cover flights, ground transportation, and other travel expenses required to compete internationally.
- Accommodation: Supporting lodging costs during international tournaments and team trips.
- Meals and nutrition: Ensuring our student-athletes have access to nutritious meals to support performance, recovery, and overall well-being while travelling.
- Competition-related expenses: Helping offset other costs associated with participating in international events.
