Overview
As students, builders and innovators, Carleton Planetary Robotics Team is driven to push the limits of what is possible. We aim to turn ideas into machines and challenges into opportunities. Every design, test and failure brings us one step closer to building something better.
Robots may be what we build, but teamwork, creativity and determination are what drive us forward. Together, we take on some of the toughest challenges in student robotics and represent Carleton on the international stage.
With your support, we can continue to push boundaries, inspire the next generation of students and take CPRT to new heights.
The Background
Our cause is creating opportunities for students to turn their passion for engineering into real-world experience.
We believe the best way to learn is to build, test, fail, and try again. CPRT gives students the opportunity to take what they learn in the classroom and apply it to a real engineering challenge, working alongside their peers to design and build a rover from the ground up.
We want to make hands-on engineering accessible to more students. By supporting CPRT, you are helping students gain the experience, confidence, and skills to take on challenges far beyond university.
The Rollout
Funds will help us purchase the materials and components needed to design, build, and test our rover. They will also support manufacturing costs, competition travel, and accommodations, allowing our team to focus on building and competing at our best.
