Overview
The Addelman-Semple resource Centre in the School of Mathematics and Statistics was founded through the generous donations of Sydney Addelman (Statistics) and Richard Semple (Mathematics), and provides access to over 3,000 unique and valuable books in the current collection all housed in a dedicated space within the School in Herzberg Laboratories.

The Rollout
By supporting the Addelman-Semple Resource Centre Priority Fund, you are helping to make valuable resources more readily accessible to our students and faculty members by launching a new electronic catalogue system. Donations will support the staffing to create the catalogue, and ensure all the right information is input to the KOHA server. The added self-service check-in/check-out requires equipment and will ensure that all books are accounted for and returned for the next reader to enjoy. Further valuable donated books will be added to the Centre as much as your generous donations will allow.
The Impact
The collective support of our donor community will be integral in providing broader access to relevant and diverse information, enriching education and research beyond textbook learning, as well as encouraging greater book usage through easy and accessible access.
