Year after year, your generosity empowers faculty, staff and students to advance meaningful projects, and we cannot thank you enough. Winners of our Giving Tuesday Challenges will be announced below on December 11 so stay tuned!
GIVING TUESDAY CHALLENGES:
*Please note: All time related challenges are based on EST (Eastern Standard Time)
START THE MOVEMENT: FIRST THREE GIFTS AT MIDNIGHT AND FIRST THREE GIFTS AT NOON WIN ADDITIONAL FUNDING
The perfect excuse to stay up to the wee hours indulging in some binge-worthy Netflix (or set an alarm for us early risers)! Get your fingers ready to make one of the first three gifts at midnight, or one of the first three gifts at noon and the campaign/fund you supported will receive an additional $2000 in funding. *A minimum donation of $5.00 is required to be eligible. Each campaign/fund is eligible to win this challenge a maximum of one time.

Giving Tuesday is an opportunity to celebrate the spirit of philanthropy, and this challenge helps keep the excitement going from 12:00 AM up to 11:59 PM! During all 24 hours of Giving Tuesday, the campaign/fund that received the highest number of donations each hour from individual donors will receive an additional $1000 in funding. All campaigns/funds are eligible to win this challenge up to 24 times throughout the day. *A minimum donation of $5.00 is required to be eligible, and while individual donors may make multiple gifts as part of this challenge throughout the day, only one gift made by an individual donor per hour will be counted.

The first gift made at 2:00 PM to any initiative that is not part of one of the five faculties above will win an additional $3500 in funding for the campaign/fund that received the donation. This is an opportunity to create a broad impact by supporting university-wide projects through the MacOdrum Library, Carleton Athletics, Student Experience Office, and much more. *A minimum donation of $5.00 is required to be eligible.

GO GLOBAL: GIFT FROM THE FURTHEST DISTANCE TO CARLETON UNIVERSITY
It’s time to round up your colleagues, friends, and family around the world! The project or giving fund with the donation coming from the furthest distance to Carleton University will win an additional $3000 in funding for the campaign/giving fund that they donated to.
Winning Fund: Raven’s Men’s Rugby with a donation from Augusta, Australia (the second furthest gift was made from less than a mile away!)

Your monthly donation through Carleton University sustains meaningful initiatives for years to come. All donors who sign up for a recurring monthly donation on Giving Tuesday will be entered to win one of five prizes of an additional $1000 in funding for the campaign/fund you supported.
