On Giving Tuesday, make a donation to the Max and Tessie Zelikovitz Centre for Jewish Studies and double your impact. Gifts made online will be matched dollar for dollar (up to $10,000 per donation), helping the Centre focus on priority projects and opportunities in 2020.
The Max and Tessie Zelikovitz Centre is Canada’s “capital” research institute for Jewish Studies. With access to Ottawa at our front step, the Centre connects with Parliamentarians, public servants, diplomats, NGO’s, international organizations and the national media, as well as other academics and the broader community, on the basis of the innovative and cutting-edge research conducted by more than two dozen Zelikovitz Centre researchers.
Carleton University’s Max and Tessie Zelikovitz Centre for Jewish Studies promotes inquiry into all aspects of the Jewish experience—from ancient times to the present. Each year, the Centre offers dynamic programming on campus and in the community and provides experiential learning opportunities for students to gain hands-on knowledge in their field of study.
Donations to the Zelikovitz Centre for Jewish Studies support all of our programs and allow us to develop new programming on campus and in the community. These include our Centre for Holocaust and Educational Scholarship, collaborating with the Limmud Ottawa conference, experiential learning opportunities for students, our annual student colloquium, and public lectures by international scholars. By supporting this fund, you are providing the Centre with the flexibility to respond to new and exciting opportunities and make an impact where it is needed most.
